Overview

The House is the second level of the Complexs Path (6054). The House is made up of 3 different areas: a main starting area, which takes the appearance of a small living room with two sofas and a lamp; a main hallway area where doors lead to small bedrooms, kitchens, closets, and even rooms with no apparent purpose, like a room with only a chair in it. The third and final area consists of two sets of stairs that stretch infinitely upwards. The stairs are extremely dangerous and considered a trap—they should be avoided at all times since it is faster to go up than to climb down, which can result in dangerous situations during a chase. The stairs open up to a damp, dark blue sky, rumored to be an illusion meant to lure unsuspecting wanderers.

The House gives off a feeling of danger, with its architecture being strange and hostile, almost as if it were designed to scare, trick, or even kill you.


Entities

The House has one main entity, named The Housekeeper. The Housekeeper presents itself as a player-sized entity with a pitch-black body. Only two features are notable on its face: two soulless eyes and a mouth that mostly appears to be smiling. The Housekeeper is a smart killer; it will stalk its prey from afar, moving its elastic-like neck and locking it straight onto the prey's face. The neck appears to be turning 180° without any consequences. The Housekeeper will keep stalking its prey, smiling at them the whole time. The entity only moves when it's not being looked at, and if that happens, it will attack the player directly, opening its mouth in a smile that stretches down to its knees, revealing a giant mouth with crooked teeth. The entity will become passive again when not being looked at, but if a wanderer gets too close, it will attack anyway.

To see if The Housekeeper is near, you can look at the lights, which will flicker profusely if it's nearby.

"I'm still here, they weren't lying. This place never ends, ever. The walls, the ceiling, the furniture—they're breathing, I know that. Everything here is waiting for the opportunity to kill me. I can tell, I already know how this is going to end. I already knew it since day one. Today, today is my day. Maybe the day this insanity will end. The silence of death calls me, the lights are asking me to go. I will go up the stairs and reach the stars. I will leave this place. The floor is breathing, the lights are calling, the sky is falling."

  • The House is accessed through a staircase in The Doors

Exits:

  • The exit is found in one of the corridor's rooms. It can appear anywhere and takes the appearance of a dark corridor locked behind an iron door with a level above it.
